RAWALPINDI :In a significant operation, police have arrested a three-member gang involved in stealing motorcycles from shopping mall parking lots and recovered 19 stolen motorcycles from their possession.
Police also confiscated weapons used in the crime. The gang members were identified as Danish Khan, Mansoor Khan, and Shahzad Tahir.
Police have registered separate cases against all of them and further investigation was in progress.
SSP Operations, Flight Lieutenant (retd) Hafiz Kamran Asghar commended the police team’s effort in arresting the gang and stated that the suspects would be brought to court with solid evidence to ensure they were punished.
He also emphasized that effective measures are being implemented to prevent motorcycle thefts in the area. He made it clear that it is a prime duty of the police to protect the lives and properties of people.
