Islamabad:In a pivotal meeting, Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa steered the Capital Development Authority (CDA) towards a comprehensive development agenda for Islamabad. The gathering of CDA Board members, Administrator MCI, and concerned formations tackled key issues, including sector development, the Islamabad Development Plan, and CDA’s financial health.

Member Finance presented a detailed fiscal briefing, prompting a decision to track revenue generation progress weekly, ensuring transparency and accountability. Members shared updates on directives, reflecting on their status, while Chairman Randhawa stressed the need for regular oversight through weekly board meetings.

The meeting delved into major initiatives: computerizing land records, launching a smart app for essential services, beautifying the Diplomatic Enclave and parks, and the Serena Chowk underpass project. Ongoing mega road infrastructure projects and a one-window operation for customer facilitation were also discussed, showcasing CDA’s multifaceted approach to Islamabad’s development.

To enhance project monitoring, Chairman Randhawa directed the deployment of drone cameras to various departments. The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to structured, speedy, and sustainable development, ensuring Islamabad’s continued growth and prosperity.
