3D VFX Film “Raja Rasalu” Grand Launching in Islamabad Celebrates Pakistan’s Rich Cultural Legacy
Islamabad: The legacy of Pakistan’s showbiz industry has always been marked by impact full storytelling, leaving lasting impressions on the film and television screens throughout time. These stories have not only provided meaningful entertainment but also awakened minds and created cherished memories for viewers. Following this tradition of success, director Faisal Mir has taken up the challenge of crafting a story based on the ancient historical figure of Raja Rasalu, and with modern techniques and VFX, he is presenting a cinematic masterpiece that promises to be a remarkable gift to the entertainment world.
The film, “Raja Rasalu,” written by Irfan Arfi and Waqar Ahmed Fani, is a joint effort of director Faisal Mir and executive producer-writer Mirajuddin. The main cast features Arman Ali Pasha, Shameen Khan, Hooriya Ansari, Adnan Shah Tipu, Kahan Ali, Ayub Khoso, and Nayyar Ejaz in prominent roles. The team, along with the entire cast, has worked diligently to complete this project, which is further enhanced by music composed by Saji Ali, and songs written by Waqar Fani and Faisal Mir.
The romantic and adventure-packed film “Raja Rasalu,” directed by Faisal Mir, has completed shooting, with editing, dubbing, and background music now in the final stages. The movie was filmed in the breathtaking landscapes of Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and Abbottabad.
The grand unveiling of the historical and cultural film “Raja Rasalu” took place recently at Roden Enclave, where several prominent figures from the film and television industry were in attendance. Key cast members, including Nayyar Ejaz, Adnan Shah Tipu, Mirajuddin, Mishi Khan, Alia Zahid, Adnan Hameed, and other notable personalities, were present. Attendees were shown select visual excerpts of the film on the big screen, praising Faisal Mir’s creative talents. Arman Ali Pasha takes on the lead role of Raja Rasalu, while Shameen Khan portrays “Rani Koklan.” The film is infused with deep emotions and captivating storytelling. Nayyar Ejaz delivers a standout performance as “Raja Sarkap,” a key character in the film. Renowned TV star Ayub Khoso plays the role of Raja Rasalu’s father, Raja Salbahan, while Kahan Ali brings the character of a powerful demon to life. Adnan Shah Tipu also plays an essential role in the film.
Speaking at the event, director Faisal Mir remarked, “Creating ‘Raja Rasalu’ was a significant challenge, involving authentic sets, props, and location selections that matched the ancient era. However, thanks to my team’s tireless efforts, we have produced a visual masterpiece that beautifully merges history with fantasy.” He also announced that the film will be released with the arrival of the New Year.
The promotional event was held at the Roden Enclave head office, located in Bahria Seven. At the close of the event, executive producer Muhammad Rashid and Mirajuddin expressed their gratitude to the guests for gracing the occasion with their presence and making the evening even more special.
