Rawalpindi: Under the chairmanship of Secretary Agriculture, Punjab Iftikhar Ali Sahoo a meeting was held for the digitization of vegetable and fruit markets. On this occasion, Secretary Agriculture Iftikhar Ali Sahoo said that a plan should be prepared for digital monitoring of vegetable and fruit markets in Punjab. In this regard, the Punjab Information Technology Board should present a workable plan for digital monitoring. He said that the markets of 6 divisional headquarters will be digitized in the pilot phase. It will be digitally monitored. Auction platforms for Potato, Onion and Tomato should also be separate. Entrance gates should be separate for digitized monitoring. Check and balance will be kept at entry and exit points in digitized markets. In the meeting, Chairman Punjab Information Technology Board Faisal Yousuf, Special Secretary Agriculture Punjab Sheshanshah Faisal Azeem, Director General PAMRA Tariq Mehmood and Director General Agricultural Information, Punjab Naveed Asmat Kahloon and other senior officers participated.
