Paris:The Embassy of Pakistan in Paris marked the 78th Independence Day of Pakistan with a flag-hoisting ceremony, led by Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad. The event was attended by members of the Pakistani community, French friends, and a large number of children.
In his remarks, Ambassador Ahmad highlighted the significance of the day, paying tribute to the Quaid-e-Azam and other leaders of the freedom movement. He emphasized the need to focus on the well-being of the people, especially the masses and the poor, and stressed the importance of collective and individual responsibility in promoting Pakistan’s image and prestige.
The Ambassador also expressed solidarity with the Kashmiri and Palestinian people, who have been struggling for their right to self-determination.
