Chairperson NA Special Committee on Kashmir Rana Muhammad Qasim Noon termed the incarceration of Hurriat Leader Yasin Malik as a gross violation of Basic humans rights
Islamabad: Chairperson Special Committee on Kashmir Rana Muhammad Qasim Noon said that sacrifices rendered by Hurtiat Leaders forthe cause ofthe Kashmir issue are playinga pivotal rolein keepingpthe Kashmir issue alive. H said that raisingthe cause of Kashmir atthe regional and international level would b the apex agenda of this special Kashmi committee. He also announced ” Hurriat Leader Mushaal Muli a a Specia invitee o the Special Committee ofthe National Assembly on Kashmir. He expressed these views during his meeting withthe Chairpersonof Peace and Culture Organisation and wife of incarceratedHurriyatt Leader Mushaal Muli in Parliament House Islamabad today.
Chairperson Special Committee on Kashmir Rana Muhammad Qasim Noon strongl condemned the illegal detention ofHurriyatt Leader Yasin Malik.The Chairperson expressed solidarity with Huriat leaders and demanded the international community to intervene in the situation. He also said that the Kashmir Committee would be at the forefront of sensitizing the international community about the Kashmir cause.
Chairperson of Peace and Culture Organisation Mushaal Mulik said that even the daughter of Yasin Mulik had not been allowed to communicate with the incarcerated Hurriyat Leader.” she also briefed the members of the committee that more than Fifty lac domiciles have been issued to Non-Kashmiris after 5th August 2019.”She also said that incarcerated Leader is not even allowed to have his lawyer.”
MNA / Member Special Committee on Kashmir Ms Wajiha Qamar said that the international community and opinion makers should be sensitized about the Kashmir issue. She termed Mushaal Mulik as the face of the Kashmir struggle. Furthermore, She said that the Special Committee on Kashmir would continue to support the Kashmir issue. The Chairperson said that it is the national core issue.
