Rawalpindi, Health Authority Rawalpindi, under the leadership of CEO Dr. Asif Arbab Khan, conducted a comprehensive visit to various areas of the city, including Jamia Mosque Road, Raja Bazaar, Chhattian Hattian Imam Bargah, and Medical Campus, to review arrangements for the upcoming Muharram celebrations.
Accompanied by Deputy District Health Officer Rawal Town, Hussain Shah Tirmizi, and District Sanitary Inspector, Chaudhry Shahid Mahmood, the team inspected the facilities and emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene. They distributed pamphlets on health education and awareness, and also provided masks and sanitizers to the staff.
The Health Authority team ensured that all necessary measures are in place to handle any emergency situation, and instructed the staff to perform their duties diligently. They also inspected the langar khana (food distribution centers) and sabils (water distribution points) in the district, and directed the District Sanitary Inspector to ensure that all such facilities are properly maintained.
The CEO, Dr. Asif Arbab Khan, appreciated the efforts of the Health Authority team and urged them to continue their good work. He also thanked the citizens of Rawalpindi for their cooperation and support.
