Ramsha Khan, a star cast in the drama, said the story of the drama is fictional and it is not related to reality. “All the characters are also fictional”, she said.
She said apart from Punjab and KP, the shooting of the drama took place in Azad Kashmir, making it one of the projects with such shoot in such diverse locations.
Khushal Khan, a major cast in the drama, said that during the shooting of the drama, top class technology such as the one which is used in movies was utilized to obtain the best possible result.

Responding to a question about the budget of the drama, both of them claimed that Dunyapur is the most expensive drama in the history of Pakistan, but they do not know exactly how much was spent on the shooting.
