RAWALPINDI : Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) while conducting eight operations across the country managed to recover 38 kg drugs and arrested eight accused, said an ANF Headquarters spokesman here on Friday.
He informed that 2.5 kg ice was recovered from two passengers going to Doha at Peshawar Airport.
990 grams heroin was recovered from a parcel sent to UK from a cargo office at Lahore Airport. 65 heroin-filled capsules were recovered from a passenger going to Malaysia at Lahore Airport.
680 grams heroin was recovered from the possession of Saudi Arabia bound passenger at Islamabad Airport. 30 kg ice was recovered from an accused rounded up near RCD Road Hub and 2.4 kg hashish was recovered from an accused netted near Sher Shah Toll Plaza Multan.
400 grams hashish was recovered from a drug pusher arrested near ‘Kak Pul’, Islamabad.
390 grams ice was recovered from an accused held near M-1 Islamabad. Cases under the Anti-Narcotics Act have been registered against the arrested accused and further investigations are under process.
