Balochistan CM vows to provide medical facilities to people
QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Thursday said that provincial government was committed to provide quality medical services to the people by making the health sector services part of the compulsory services.
He expressed these views while chairing third meeting of Sheikh Muhammad Bin Zayed-Al Nahyan Institute of Cardiology as its Chairman Board of Governing Body.
Important decisions related to the administrative affairs and development projects of the institution were approved in the meeting. In the meeting, the Chief Minister of Balochistan approved the construction of modern pediatric wards in the hospital, solarization and starting a special bus service from the city to the hospital, PC One and issued orders to finalize necessary matters.
The CM expressed his satisfaction with the overall performance of the institution and assured that the provincial government would provide all possible support and cooperation for quality treatment facilities for poor people while expanding the scope of medical services.
He directed the administration of Sheikh Muhammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Institute of Cardiology to create long-term projects under the 15-30 year planning along with important projects of immediate nature which could be used by a large number of people. After the board meeting, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti visited the patients under treatment in the hospital and gave them gifts while showing compassion and love to the children under treatment.
