CDA seals three asphalt plants at Margalla Hills
ISLAMABAD:Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Thursday sealed three asphalt plants located in the Margalla Hills for contributing environmental pollution.
The action was taken following direction of Chairman CDA, Muhammad Ali Randhawa to combat environmental pollution and protect the natural beauty of Islamabad.
The sealed plants belonged to HDC, CAF, and Arif Co were found violating environmental laws.
The operation was carried out jointly by the DCCDA, Magistrate ICT, and Enforcement Directorate.
Chairman CDA, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, emphasized the need for indiscriminate action against elements spreading environmental pollution
He stressed the importance of preserving the natural scenery and beauty of Islamabad.
He directed that all available resources be utilized to achieve this goal.
