BEIJING:A report released at an international seminar at Renmin University of China predicts that China will become the world’s largest economy by 2035, with scientific research and manufacturing capabilities reaching world-class levels. The report outlines seven key transformations expected in China by 2029 and 2035, including significant changes in economy, life standard, environment, and national security.

Experts from around the world gathered to discuss China’s progress and prospects, noting that this new era of Chinese reforms will create a new core for the world economic model. They highlighted both opportunities and challenges for other nations, emphasizing the need for careful cultivation of economic relationships and strategic partnerships.

The report projects significant improvements in China’s Human Development Index, average life expectancy, and per capita monthly income, as well as achievements in peak carbon emissions reduction, green industrial systems, and comprehensive security milestones.
