CM Punjab visits Arshad Nadeem’s home to honour historic achievement
MULTAN: CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif called on Olympic gold medalist, Arshad Nadeem, after arriving his home at suburban village of Mian Channu here Tuesday.
The Olympian extended warm reception along with the family upon scheduled arrival of Maryam Nawaz at his house situated at 101/15 L.
She sit with his mother at her side and held conversation for sometime over domestic and family affairs. Maryam Nawaz made snaps and selfies with the families members in the momentous moment.
Olympian Arshad Nadeem recalled her struggle in lead up to winning gold medal in the historic Olympic competition during talk with Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
CM Punjab awarded a check worth Rs 100 million with key of Honda Civic carrying exclusive number plate 92.97 symbolizing his achievement by throwing javelin to the record distance of 92.97 in the Olympic game.
She also offered a check worth Rs. 5 million to the coach, Salman Iqbal Butt on the occasion.
She felicitated the teacher and coach of Arshad Nadeem while conversing with the family members. Arshad Nadeem get embraced the nation a fabulous success and happiness, she remarked.
Nadeem and the family declared the CM’s arrival to be the great honour and service for acknowledging the hallmark achievement outpoured globally.
