CM reviews progress on development projects, law & order situation in Multan
LAHORE :Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, chairing a meeting at Multan Airport on Tuesday, reviewed the progress on the ongoing development projects, CM initiatives and law and order situation in Multan division.
The CM directed the authorities to immediately resolve sewage and sanitation complaints in Multan Division, said a handout issued here.
CM Maryam Nawaz appreciated the people-friendly sale counters installed in markets in all districts of Multan Division, adding that negligence in price control will not be tolerated. Officers should monitor closely. Focus on the beauty of Multan city and deliver fruits of CM initiatives to people, she instructed. Action should be taken against those who charge more than the official rate, she warned. Open courts should be set up to solve public problems, she said.
The CM directed the relevant authorities that attention should be paid to improve law and order in the area. She appreciated Commissioner Multan Maryam Khan for her good performance in Suthra Punjab campaign.
Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Provincial Sports Minister Ayub Khokhar, Special Assistant Zeeshan Malik and MPA Sania Ashiq attended the meeting. Chief Secretary, Commissioner RPO Multan Division and other officers concerned were also present on the occasion.
