ISLAMABAD:The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday appointed Districts Returning Officer (DO), Returning Officers (ROs) and Assistant Returning Officers (AROs) for the conduct of local government elections in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).
The ECP appointed DO, ROs and AROs in exercise of the power conferred upon it under Articles-140 A(2) and 219 (d) of the constitution, section-20 of the Islamabad Capital Territory Local Government Act, 2015 read with Rule-8 of the Islamabad Capital Territory Local Government (Conduct of Elections) Rules, 2015, said a notification issued here.
Irfan Nawz Memon, Deputy Commissioner (ICT) has been appointed as DO, Muhammad Amer Mumtaz, Principal IMCB, F-11/1, Muhammad Anwar, Principal IMSB, Noor Pur Shahan, Dr Ehsan Mehmood, Area Education Officer Barakahu, Uzair Ali Khan Assistant Commissioner (Nilore), Iftikhar Ahmad Hashmi, Principal IMSB Sihala, Aziz ur Rehman Principal IMCB Humak, Kamran Saghir Assistant Commissioner (Rural) ICT, Rasheed Ahmad, Principal IMSB (VI-X) Tarlai Islamabad, Nehal Hafeez Assistant Commissioner (Shalimar), ICT, Farwa Batool, Assistant Commissioner (Industrial Area), Dr Muhammad Yaseen Afaqi, Principal ICB, G 6/3, Amer Naeed, Assitant Director (Labour), Shahid Mahmood Abbasi, Principal IMCB, I 8/3, Asma Sanaullah, Director (AES), Dr Javed Iqbal, Principal IMSB (I-X) Nogazzi and Raheela Awais, Area Education Officer, Tarnol as ROs, it further said.
