ISLAMABAD: The Standing Committee on Energy (Petroleum Division) convened its second meeting at Parliament House, Islamabad, today. Chaired by Syed Mustafa Mehmood, MNA, the session was attended by Federal Minister for Energy, members of the Standing Committee, and senior officials from the Ministry of Energy and its attached departments.
The Secretary, Ministry of Energy, presented a comprehensive overview of the ministry’s functions, attached departments, and ongoing initiatives aimed at enhancing public services across the country. The committee scrutinized the ministry’s performance, discussing key challenges and potential solutions.
The meeting was attended by esteemed members, including Syed Naveed Qamar, Muhammad Nawaz Khan, Shahid Ahmed, Anwar-ul-Haq Chaudhary, Rai Haider Ali Khan, Dr. Shezra Mansab Ali Khan Kharal, Gul Asghar Khan, Salahuddin Junejo, Muhammad Moin Aamer Pirzada, Asad Alam Niazi, and Mian Khan Bugti, ensuring a collaborative approach to addressing the energy sector’s pressing issues.
