Rawalpindi: Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Engineer Aamir Khattak stressed the importance of facilitating the legitimate work of people instead of creating hurdles and causing unnecessary delays. He made these remarks while presiding over the Divisional Grievances Redressal Committee, which reviewed appeals submitted by teachers for transfer and posting cases.

The committee approved 48 transfer cases out of 98 discussed, with 17 approved in Rawalpindi district, 22 in Attock district, 3 in Jhelum district, and 6 in Chakwal district. 45 cases of inter-district transfers are still under process.

Commissioner Rawalpindi directed that progress should be made on the under-process cases as soon as possible to provide facilities to teachers, enabling them to perform their duties with full peace of mind.
