Fazaia Bilquis College of Education for Women holds 31st convocation

ISLAMABAD:The 31st Convocation of Fazaia Bilquis College of Education for Women, PAF Nur Khan, was held on Sunday at the Convocation Hall, Air University, Islamabad, celebrating the academic achievements of students from the 2020, 2021, and 2022 sessions.
The ceremony was graced by Air Marshal Abdul Moeed Khan, Vice Chancellor of Air University, as the Chief Guest, while Begum Air Marshal Kazim Hammad attended as the Guest of Honour, according to a press release.
A total of 804 students were conferred degrees across various disciplines, including Master of Arts in English, B.Ed (Hons) Elementary, Associate Degree in Education, BS (Hons) in English, Computer Science, Mathematics, Psychology, and BBA (Hons).
The top performers of the session were awarded 19 Gold and 18 Silver medals for securing the first and second positions.
Special recognition was given to Ms. Erum Kham, Ms. Beenish Farooq, and Ms. Khizra Fatima, who were presented with the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy for their outstanding academic performance, co-curricular achievements, and exemplary conduct.
Principal of Fazaia Bilquis College, Wing Commander Ayesha Waheed, welcomed the guests and delivered the annual report.
Ayesha Waheed highlighting the institution’s pioneering role in empowering women through education since its establishment in 1984.
Ayesha Waheed said that the college continues to provide teacher training programs and general courses, equipping women with the skills to contribute to the nation’s progress.
Additionally, the college extends opportunities to underprivileged students, ensuring access to education for those in need.
Air Marshal Abdul Moeed Khan conferred the degrees upon the graduates and presented medals and certificates to high achievers, while merit certificates were also awarded to dedicated faculty members.
The ceremony concluded with Begum Air Marshal Kazim Hammad presenting the college crest to Air Marshal Abdul Moeed Khan, marking the end of a memorable event that celebrated academic excellence and the college’s legacy.
