KARACHI:Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori has distributed digital technology awards for excellence among financial institutions here on Thursday.
Addressing the ceremony organized by the Institutes of Chartered Accounts of Pakistan (ICAP), the Governor said the encouragement of financial institutions was commendable act.
He said without modern innovation, fastest development was not possible. It is imperative to adapt the financial system to the digital age, Governor said. He commended the initiatives of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan in line with the contemporary requirements.
He said that digital technology can join the race of modern development.
The governor further added that the government believes in making full use of digital technology.
The youth are being imparted training in modern age IT courses at the Governor House, Kamran Tessori said.
He said that steps are being taken to solve online problems, according to the digital technology.
He said that in this age of modernization, our neighboring countries have surpassed us in the race of technology. We
have to create new opportunities for our future generations.
He claimed that SIFC will take the country into a new race of development.
