Govt utilizing resources for promotion of technical education in Balochistan: Umrani
QUETTA: Adviser to Balochistan Chief Minister on Labour and Manpower Baba Ghulam Rasool Umrani on Tuesday said that the provincial government was utilizing all resources for the promotion of technical education in the province.
He expressed these views while visiting the Technical Training Center Quetta.
On this occasion, Secretary Labour and Manpower Niaz Ahmed Nichari, Director Manpower Training Irshad Ahmed, DG Labour Bashir Ahmed and other officers were also present.
The Adviser said that it was impossible to deny the importance of technical education in the present age saying that equipping the youth of the province with various skills according to the requirements of the modern age would have far-reaching results.
He said that technical education was the guarantee of educational and economic stability of any society.
The economic development speed is higher in the countries which focus on technical education by making it a part of their general education, he said.
Nichari said that the majority of our country’s population consists of youth that they would train them in various arts and fields according to modern sciences, information technology and market needs which is essential for development of country.
