IBI, MoITT join hands to tailor global one-stop services for various industrial chains in Pakistan
Partnership aims to boost regional economic cooperation, digital economy, and industrial development under China's Belt and Road Initiative
Beijing: Beijing-based industrial internet enterprise IBI has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Pakistan’s Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications (MoITT) and Michael & Parker, a Pakistani company. This partnership aims to promote regional economic cooperation, digital economy, and industrial development, aligning with China’s Belt and Road Initiative. IBI will provide one-stop services for industrial chains in Pakistan, leveraging its expertise in digital economy, industrial internet, and cross-border industrial belts. The cooperation is expected to enhance the global presence of enterprises in both China and Pakistan, with a focus on cross-border e-commerce, supply chain collaboration, and talent exchange. The partnership has the potential to grow China-Pakistan e-commerce trade from USD 3.5 billion in 2021 to USD 60 billion by 2030.
