Information Minister Tarar visits CDA to Plan Grand Azadifest Celebrations

Islamabad:In a significant move to revive patriotism among Pakistanis, Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting, Culture, and Heritage, Attaullah Tarar, visited the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to discuss arrangements for the upcoming Azadifest celebrations on August 14th.

Warmly received by CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa, the Minister was accompanied by the Deputy Commissioner (ICT), Administrator (MCI), and CDA members. The meeting aimed to plan a spectacular series of events, including flag hoisting, musical concerts, food festivals, cultural displays, shows, fireworks, and Islamabad’s first-ever drone show.

Special city beautification plans were also discussed, featuring MarGo, Islamabad’s official mascot, symbolizing Margalla’s prosperity. Corporate and private sectors will be invited to sponsor various activities, with exclusive opportunities to showcase their contributions and brand image.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks from Chairman Randhawa to Minister Tarar for his support in making the Independence Day celebrations a grand success.
