In a landmark meeting at the Capital Development Authority (CDA) headquarters, Federal Minister for Interior, Mohsin Naqvi, outlined a comprehensive plan to transform Islamabad into a world-class city. The minister’s visionary decisions aim to revolutionize the capital’s infrastructure, transportation, and services.
The key decisions which are taken by federal minister are as follows
– Electric motorbikes to replace conventional ones, reducing environmental pollution
– Introduction of eco-friendly electric buses for citizens
– International standard emergency services to be provided
– Capital Waste Management Company to be established
– Serena Chowk Underpass and F-9 Park Chowk Flyover projects to commence soon
– Long-delayed Expressway project to be completed on a priority basis
– Development work in non-developed sectors to be finalized
– Islamabad Model Jail project to be completed after 17 years
– Business Facilitation Centers to be established
– Land allocated for Health Tower in Sector H-16
The minister emphasized the need for sustainable development, urging CDA to prepare an investment plan within seven days. The meeting reviewed progress on various ongoing projects, including Kuri Enclave, Federal Secretariat building renovation, Diplomatic Enclave, and Smart Parking projects.
