Mohammad Rizwan aims for victory in T20 series against Australia
BRISBANE:Pakistan’s national cricket captain, Mohammad Rizwan, has stated that winning the T20 series against Australia is their top priority.
Speaking to the media during a practice session before the first T20 match against Australia, Rizwan emphasised that international cricket always presented challenges.
He acknowledged that Australia’s conditions were not easy, and the team was working on improving their performance.
Regarding the team lineup for the first T20 match, Rizwan mentioned that discussions have already been held about the final XI, but the details would be revealed later.
He added that there were ongoing consultations, and the best opening combination would be selected based on form.
Rizwan also highlighted the difficulty of replacing key players such as Mohammad Amir, Imad Wasim, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Fakhar Zaman, who have all contributed significantly to Pakistan cricket.
He reiterated that the primary focus was on winning the series against Australia.
