Naran: A Shining Example of Tourism Management Excellence
In a commendable display of efficient tourism management, Naran has set a high standard for the industry, as acknowledged by Zahid Chanzeb, Advisor for Tourism, Culture, and Archaeology of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) deserves accolades for their outstanding arrangements, ensuring a seamless experience for the influx of tourists during Eid-ul-Adha.
Despite the challenges of accommodating over 400,000 visitors, KDA successfully maintained the cleanliness of the valley, showcasing Naran’s potential as a premier tourist hub in Pakistan. Zahid Chanzeb praised the efforts, highlighting the significance of promoting tourism in the region.
To further enhance the tourist experience, Chanzeb announced several initiatives, including the provision of solar tube wells, an ambulance, funds for bridge repair, and a rented building for the Girls School Naran. MPA Munir Hussain Laghmani emphasized their commitment to providing facilities and promoting tourism in the area.
The newly inaugurated green belt along the Kunhar River offers a serene environment for tourists to enjoy the natural beauty of Naran, solidifying its position as a top tourist destination. The successful management of tourism in Naran serves as a model for other regions, showcasing the potential for sustainable tourism development in Pakistan.
