National Highways and Motorway Police Honors Its Brave Martyrs, IG Salman Chaudhry

Islamabad: On the eve of”Youm-e-Shuhda Police,” the National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) paid a poignant tribute to the sacrifices of Pakistan Police officers who laid down their lives in the line of duty. The ceremony, held at the Yadgar-e-Shudhda monument, was a testament to the bravery and resilience of the fallen heroes.

Inspector General Salman Chaudhry, accompanied by ASP Sohaib Amin, son of martyred Sub Inspector Muhammad Amin, offered floral tributes to the martyrs, setting the tone for a solemn and heartfelt ceremony. IG Chaudhry’s address was a stirring tribute to the 49 NHMP martyrs, including a lady officer, who exemplified courage and selflessness.

With deep gratitude, IG Chaudhry acknowledged the pivotal role of the martyrs’ families in shaping NHMP into a beacon of excellence. He lauded the fallen officers as paragons of valor and resilience, and expressed solidarity with their families.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of ASP Sohaib Amin and Nosheen Safdar, daughter of martyred Muhammad Safdar, who conveyed their heartfelt thanks for the recognition and support extended by NHMP.

As the ceremony drew to a close, certificates of honor were distributed, paying tribute to the enduring legacy of the fallen officers and their families. The event was a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by NHMP’s brave martyrs and a testament to the organization’s commitment to honoring their memory.
