Pakistan and China Strengthen Media Ties to Boost Friendship
A delegation of journalists from Balochistan, Pakistan, and representatives from the China International Communications Group (CICG) met with Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, Khalil Hashmi, at the Pakistan Embassy in Beijing. The meeting aimed to foster greater collaboration between the media industries of both countries and strengthen the Pakistan-China friendship.
Ambassador Hashmi emphasized the vital role of media in promoting the success stories of the Pakistan-China relationship and encouraged both sides to work together to highlight the achievements of their enduring partnership. He also highlighted Balochistan’s central position in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and the importance of developing the region.
The journalists from Balochistan shared their experiences from their China visit and expressed keen interest in covering various aspects of the Pakistan-China relationship. CICG representatives shared insights into China’s media landscape and explored potential areas for collaboration with Pakistani media.
Ambassador Hashmi stressed the need for continued engagement and cooperation between Pakistani and Chinese media, expressing optimism about the future of media collaboration and its role in bringing the people of Pakistan and China closer together.
