PCB contradicts news about disciplinary committee to fix players
Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has categorically rejected reports circulating in some media outlets about the formation of a disciplinary committee to impose fines on Pakistan Men’s cricket team players.
In a statement issued by the PCB Media Department on Sunday, the board termed the reports as “concocted and baseless”. The PCB clarified that no such committee has been formed, and no action has been taken against any player.
The board further emphasized that rumors about a disciplinary committee being established to submit a report are entirely unfounded. The PCB reiterated that there is no truth to the formation of a committee to investigate any matters related to the Pakistan Men’s cricket team.
The PCB’s denial puts to rest speculation and misinformation surrounding the alleged disciplinary action against players.
