PMAS-AAUR Honor Ranked among 10th among Pakistani universities
PMAS AAUR ranked overall 801-1000 among universities in the world
Islamabad: Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR) ranked 10th among Pakistani both public & private universities. PMAS AAUR ranked overall 801-1000 among universities in the world.
The ranking was announced by the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings (WUR) 2025 and includes 2092 best performing universities from different countries.
The World University Rankings are generated from 5 Pillars, each of which represents a key area of higher education excellence teaching, research environment, research quality, industry and international outlook. The highest ranked pillar for PMAS-AAUR is the research quality that is 61.80 in WUR ranking 2025.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Naeem Vice Chancellor PMAS-AAUR congratulated the University community including faculty, students and administration on achieving this achievement. Prof. Dr. Tanveer Ahmad, Director, Directorate of Quality Enhancement (DQE) thanked all the stakeholders on this achievement. He also lauded the hard work of the university community including the staff of DQE during the ranking process.
