Portfolios allocated to newly sworn-in federal cabinet members

ISLAMABAD :The newly sworn-in federal ministers, special assistants, and advisers were assigned their portfolios on Friday.

The Cabinet Division has issued the notification of the allocation of portfolios. It states that Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has been appointed as the federal minister for parliamentary affairs, while Ali Pervaiz Malik named the federal minister for petroleum.

Aurangzeb Khan Khichi has been appointed as the federal minister for national heritage while Khalid Magsi will handle the Ministry of Science and Technology. Hanif Abbasi has been named as the minister of railways.

Muhammad Mueen Watoo has been appointed as the federal minister for water resources, and Muhammad Junaid Anwar will be the federal minister for maritime affairs.

Muhammad Raza Hayat Haraj has been assigned the portfolio of ministry of defence production while Sardar Muhammad Yousaf has been allocated the ministry of religious affairs.

Shaza Fatima Khawaja has been appointed as the federal minister for IT and Telecommunications.

Rana Mubashar Iqbal will be the federal minister for the Public Affairs Unit, while Syed Mustafa Kamal has been allocated the Ministry of Health. Rashid Ahmad Khan has become the minister Food Security and Research.

Abdul Rehman Kanju has been appointed as the minister of state for power, with the additional charge of the Public Affairs Unit. Bilal Azhar Kayani has been designated as the minister of state for railways, and Aqeel Malik has been appointed as the minister of state for Law and Justice.

Khail Das Kohistani has been appointed as the Minister of State for Religious Affairs, while Aoun Chaudhry will be the minister of State for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Development.

Talal Chaudhry has been assigned the portfolio of minister of state for Interior and Narcotics Control, and Wajiha Qamar named as minister of state for Education and Training.

Furthermore, Federal Law Minister Azam Nazeer has been given the additional portfolio of the Ministry of Human Rights.

Musaddiq Malik has been appointed as the federal minister for climate change while Khawaja Asif will continue to hold the Ministry of Defence, while Attaullah Tarar will be the Minister for Information, and Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui will be the federal minister for education.

Rana Tanveer Hussain has been appointed as the Federal Minister for Food Security, and Chaudhry Salik Hussain assigned the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Development. Abdul Aleem Khan has been given the Ministry of Communications, while Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh has been assigned the Ministry for the Investment Board.

 

Former PTI leaders Pervez Khattak has been appointed as adviser to PM on interior while Mohammad Ali has been named as adviser on privatization.
