President approves appointments of CJ SHC, CJ LHC
In a move of great significance, President Asif Ali Zardari has given his esteemed approval to the appointments of two esteemed justices to the highest courts in the land!
Muhammad Shafi Siddiqui, formerly the acting Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court, has been elevated to the position of Chief Justice of the SHC, while Justice Aalia Neelum has been appointed as the Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court.
These appointments, made under the auspices of Article 175A (13) of the Constitution of Pakistan, mark a new chapter in the annals of judicial history in the nation.
