Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif Meets MPA Saeed Akbar Khan Nawani to Discuss Public Welfare Initiatives
In a significant meeting, Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Saeed Akbar Khan Nawani called on Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif to discuss various public issues and development projects. MPA Nawani congratulated CM Sharif on completing 100 days of public service, praising the successful implementation of the Field Hospital and Clinics on Wheels program. The chief minister announced plans to expand the program by adding 500 more Field Hospitals and establishing thalassemia centers in district hospitals.
CM Sharif also shared her vision to provide 24-hour services at 200 Basic Health Units (BHUs) by next year, with specialized doctors visiting remote hospitals weekly. MPA Nawani lauded the government’s performance, terming it a model for other provinces. He praised the pro-poor initiatives, noting their growing popularity among the public.
