Revolutionary Awaz App Launched: A Beacon of Hope for Human Rights
Islamabad: In a groundbreaking move, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, Federal Minister for Law, Justice, and Human Rights, unveiled the Awaz App, a pioneering mobile application designed to combat human rights violations effectively. This innovative tool marks a significant milestone in the country’s quest to safeguard individuals’ rights and well-being.
The Awaz App is a testament to the Ministry of Human Rights’ dedication to harnessing technology for social good, ensuring swift responses to critical human rights issues. This user-friendly platform enables citizens to report human rights violations, including cases of missing or abducted children, directly to relevant authorities for prompt action.
Upon receiving a report, the app activates an Alert System, triggering a coordinated response from law enforcement, government departments, and community organizations. This multi-faceted approach maximizes public awareness and engagement, mobilizing law enforcement agencies to initiate search operations and investigations.
The app’s primary objective is to ensure the safe recovery of victims, providing comprehensive support services, including counseling, legal aid, and medical assistance. Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar emphasized the app’s role in creating a safer and more responsive environment for addressing human rights issues.
The Ministry of Human Rights encourages all citizens to download the Awaz app and join the collective effort to combat human rights violations. The app is currently available for Android devices and will soon be accessible on iOS platforms.
