Islamabad:In a landmark move, the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Sindh High Court, Mr. Justice Muhammad Shafi Siddiqui, has inaugurated two Company Benches at the Principal Seat in Karachi. These specialized benches, comprising Hon’ble Mr. Justice Muhammad Faisal Kamal Alam and Hon’ble Mr. Justice Adnan Iqbal Chaudhry, bring a wealth of experience in commercial and regulatory disputes, having delivered numerous groundbreaking judgments that have shaped the legal landscape.
This significant development marks a major stride towards expeditious resolution of company-related cases and regulatory matters. The establishment of dedicated Company Benches at the Sindh High Court aligns with the precedent set by the Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Balochistan High Courts, underscoring the commitment to efficient justice.
As mandated by the Companies Act, 2017, the Hon’ble Chief Justices of respective High Courts have constituted these specialized benches to exclusively adjudicate company and regulatory affairs, paving the way for a more streamlined and effective legal framework.
