Take Effective Measures to Prevent Dengue: Former MNA Haji Pervaiz

RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has intensified its countermeasures to completely prevent dengue.
According to RDA spokesperson, former MNA Haji Pervaiz, serving as the Anti-Dengue Coordinator and Vice President of the Pakistan Muslim League-N District Rawalpindi, visited various RIT Schemes Rawalpindi today alongside RDA staff members, including Building Inspector Mukhtar Ahmed, Building Surveyor Malik Amir Mehmood and others.
The purpose of this visit was to review the current prevention and control measures for dengue fever. During the inspection, areas such as the Asghar Mall Scheme, Saidpur Scheme, Dussehra Ground Scheme, Sherpao Colony and Millat Colony Rawalpindi were thoroughly assessed.
Former MNA Haji Pervaiz emphasized the need for increased health awareness in Rawalpindi, stating, “This visit highlights our collective responsibility to implement effective measures against dengue.” He also engaged with local residents, providing essential information and advice on precautionary steps to avoid dengue transmission.
He further urged that anti-dengue standard operating procedures (SOPs) be fully implemented. “Our goal is to work in collaboration with the general public to safeguard our health and protect our community from this dangerous disease,” he added.
