Ankara, Turkey – Renowned Turkish journalist Mehmet Oz Turk has emphasized that Pakistan’s economic woes can only be alleviated through political stability and consistent policies. In a meeting with Pakistani journalists and the head of the Turkey-Pakistan Women Forum, Shabana Ayaz, Turk praised Pakistan’s rich history, culture, and people, but lamented the country’s political strife, which he believes is hindering economic progress.

“Pakistan is a distinguished country in the Muslim Ummah, but political instability has created economic problems,” Turk stated. “The wealth of Pakistan is not reaching the common people. To make the people of Pakistan prosperous, it must escape political strife.”

Turk highlighted the importance of Pakistan’s youth, comprising over 60% of the population, in driving national development. He encouraged the utilization of their skills, particularly in English, to contribute to the country’s growth.

The Turkish journalist also stressed the need for a robust cleaning system in Pakistan, citing the country’s name, which means “pure place.” He expressed his desire to see a clean Pakistan, with all provinces adopting an effective waste management system.

In conclusion, Turk emphasized the potential for strengthened ties between Turkey and Pakistan through cultural exchange and mutual understanding. He suggested creating vlogs to showcase daily life in both countries, fostering a deeper connection between the two nations.
