Luton, UK – 27/11/24 – Jane Marriott CMG OBE, the British Ambassador to Pakistan, visited the Jamia Islamia Ghousia Trust in Luton on Wednesday 27th November, engaging with members of the British Pakistani Diaspora. The event was hosted by Imam Abdul Aziz Qazi MBE, a respected leader in the community known for his dedication to promoting interfaith dialogue and community cohesion.
During her visit, Ambassador Marriott expressed her desire to connect with the British Pakistani community and discuss important issues affecting them, including cultural integration, education, and opportunities for collaboration between the UK and Pakistan. Jane Marriott CMG OBE has served as the British Ambassador to Pakistan since 2023.
