New York: Senator Lt Gen Abdul Qayyum emphasized the need for United Nations reform to prevent powerful countries’ aggression and ensure international peace. He stressed that equal voting weightage for all countries is crucial to prevent genocides and mass slaughters, particularly in communities like Kashmir and Palestine.

Speaking at a seminar in New York, attended by prominent figures including Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador Munir Akram, Senator Qayyum reassured that Pakistan is committed to supporting the Kashmiri people’s indigenous struggle for self-determination.
