Islamabad, July 5, 2024: Federal Minister for Planning and Development, Prof Ahsan Iqbal, emphasized the crucial need to enhance productivity levels to achieve economic growth during his visit to the National Productivity Organization. The Minister received a comprehensive briefing on the National Productivity Master Plan, a strategic framework developed with the support of the Asian Productivity Organization and the Korean Development Institute.
Prof Ahsan Iqbal highlighted the significance of productivity in driving economic growth, citing Pakistan’s vast resources and untapped potential. He illustrated the point by comparing Pakistan’s milk production to global benchmarks, stressing the need for adaptive methods to enhance productivity.
