War on Drugs: ANF Strikes Again with Swift Operations
Islamabad:In a relentless pursuit of curbing drug trafficking, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has conducted a series of daring operations, yielding a significant haul of illicit substances and apprehending key accused.
At Peshawar Airport, a passenger bound for Sharjah was caught with 108 heroin-filled capsules, foiling a sinister plot to smuggle the deadly drug. Meanwhile, in Turbat, a massive recovery of 30 kg of prohibited powder and 9 kg of hashish was made, dealing a severe blow to the narcotics trade.
In Quetta, the ANF seized 2 kg of ice from an accused on the Kuchlak Bypass, while in Lahore, two foreigners were caught with 1 kg of heroin and 15 grams of cocaine near Ferozepur Road.
These swift operations have resulted in the arrest of four accused, with cases registered under the Anti-Narcotics Act and investigations underway. The ANF’s unwavering dedication to eradicating drug trafficking is a testament to their unrelenting commitment to a safer, drug-free society.
