Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, arrives in Russia on official visit.
During his visit, General Mirza met with Deputy Defence Minister Colonel General Alexander Fomin, Deputy Secretary of the Russian Federation’s Security Council Alexander Venediktov, and Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Colonel General SY Istrakov.
The meetings emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation in various fields, including connectivity, trade, energy, and security. Discussions also covered bilateral military and military-technical cooperation, regional security, and counter-terrorism. Both sides expressed interest in strengthening bilateral military relations
