FAISALABAD :The FBR has issued a valuation chart for Faisalabad district under Tajir Dost Scheme (TDS), said Chaudhry Talat Mahmood, convener FCCI Standing Committee on Liaison with the FBR.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday, he said that the annual income of traders having their shops in eight bazaars in the downtown area, D-ground Peoples’ Colony, Chen-One Road and Satyana Road has been estimated at Rs. 2,833,333.
The annual indicative tax of these shopkeepers will be Rs. 540,000 which would be recovered in monthly installments of Rs. 45,000. Similarly, the annual income of traders falling in the area of Cchoti D-Ground People’s Colony, Douglas Pura, Civil Line, Koh-i-Noor, Susan Road and Iron Market Dijkot Road has been estimated at Rs.2,233,333 with indicative tax of Rs.3,600,000. This amount would be recovered in monthly installments of Rs.30,000.
Meanwhile, the annual income of shopkeepers working from Railway Road, Regal Road and Dhobi Ghat has been worked out at Rs.1,833,333. Their annual tax will be Rs.240,000 which would be recovered in monthly installments of Rs.20,000 per month, he added.
